Bio
Theresa Silver (Lumendrop) is an audiovisual artist, multimedia developer,
stage designer, and projection mapping specialist.
Originally passionate to explore the realm of sound, she studied for a decade as a classical pianist and harpist
before discovering electronic music, which drew her to study sound synthesis and design at
Berklee College of Music in Boston, and sparked a new interest for digital signal processing which led her
in turn to the Computer Science Masters Program at Harvard University, where she was introduced to
computer graphics and generative algorithms and there — her love of visualizing sound was born.
Branching from there into live video performance and sculptural projection mapping, she has
brought her vision to more than 1,000 events and held VJ residencies at clubs such as ICON,
GoodLife, Lower Level, and Phoenix Landing in Boston and Verboten in New York.
Her stages, sculptures, and visuals have been featured at numerous festivals throughout
the United States, including Burning Man 2013-2019 (Nevada);
FractalFest 2013-2019 (New York); Transformus 2014-2015 (North Carolina);
Firefly 2013-2019 (Vermont); and Together  2016-2019 (Boston).
